Brian Maggi is a comedian and executive producer of Showmentum, an entertainment production and event company. He left the high-stress world of tech for the low-wage life of comedy. His biggest claim to fame is inventing the Spam filter so he’d have an excuse for not reading his parents’ emails.
He performs regularly around the San Francisco Bay Area including Cobbs, The Punchline, and The Bankhead Theater. He has opened for Laurie Kilmartin, and Kira Soltanovich. He also wrote sketch comedy for Second City, and co-created the underground humor magazine “In Formation.” He is a published author, and keynote speaker on innovation and creativity.
